Welcome to the official website of the Fincastle Volunteer Fire Department. We are a 100% volunteer department located in Central Botetourt County, Virginia. Since 1947, the Fincastle Volunteer Fire Department has served the small town of Fincastle and the surrounding areas in Botetourt County. 

 

The Department has numerous active volunteers that help run calls, perform administrative functions, raise funds for the Department, and assist with station projects. Volunteering with your local fire department may seem like a daunting task, but members here at Company 4 can attest that the demands are not overbearing and can be done simultaneously with your work or school schedule. Volunteering with Fincastle does not require that you become a firefighter or EMT; many members perform other vital functions within the Department that are not physically demanding.
